Privacy Policy

DocFind does not collect any data about you. It has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no servers. The app is built without any network capability at all — your documents cannot be uploaded, because there is nowhere for them to go.
What we collect
Nothing. DocFind does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data of any kind. There is no sign-up, no login, and no user profile. We do not know who you are, and we have no way to find out.
Your documents
DocFind only opens documents you choose yourself, using the standard iOS file picker. It has no access to your photo library, contacts, location, microphone, or camera, and never asks for them.
The documents you add, the searchable index DocFind builds from them, and the results of text recognition are all stored on your device only. Deleting a document from a library, or deleting the app, removes them.
Text recognition (OCR)
When you ask DocFind to make a scanned document searchable, the text recognition runs entirely on your iPhone using Apple's on-device Vision framework. Page images are never sent anywhere, and no third party is involved.
Exports and sharing
DocFind can export search results as CSV, Markdown, a PDF report, or a PDF of the matching pages. Exported files are created on your device. They leave your device only if you deliberately send them somewhere using the iOS share sheet — for example by email or by saving to Files. DocFind never sends them on its own, and cannot.
Purchases
DocFind Pro is a one-time in-app purchase handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. Apple processes the payment; we never see your name, your payment details, or your Apple Account. We receive no personal information from a purchase. Restoring a purchase is likewise handled by Apple.
Analytics, tracking and advertising
There are none. DocFind contains no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, and no tracking of any kind. It does not show the App Tracking Transparency prompt, because it has nothing to ask for.
Children
DocFind is rated 4+ and is safe for all ages. Because it collects no data at all, it collects no data from children.
Your rights
Regulations such as the GDPR and the CCPA give you rights to access, correct, or delete the personal data a company holds about you. We hold none, so there is nothing for us to disclose or delete. All of your DocFind data lives on your own device and is under your direct control.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date. If a future version of DocFind ever added a feature that collected data, that change would be described here before the feature shipped.
